Mountain View Academy operates with a strong mission to provide a high-quality early learning experience for children of professional parents in Downtown Denver and surrounding areas. We provide responsive caregiving and routine-based curriculum to children 6 weeks to 6 years old in a full-day, 5 day per week program, infant to Pre-K. Our small school environment offers 6 classrooms with 18 teachers and Administrators. Snacks and ancillary programming are included in your monthly tuition.
Progressive Curriculum
We utilize the Creative Curriculum® approach, a comprehensive, research-based program that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. Our teachers will offer twice yearly conferences and partner with you using Teaching Strategies Gold to highlight developmental milestones, scaffolding next steps and how to bridge the gap between home and school.
Our Classrooms
Welcome to Mountain View Academy- a loving and nurturing environment designed to provide exceptional care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. Our full-day, 5-day per week program features 6 spacious classrooms, staffed by a team of 18 dedicated teachers and staff. With room for up to 70 students, we offer 2 infant classrooms, 3 toddler classrooms, and 1 Early preschool (2.5 yrs+), ensuring that we can create the optimal learning experience for each child that we welcome into our school. Our mission is to cultivate a love of learning and create a foundation for success that will serve your child for years to come.
INFANT
Infant classrooms serve children ages 6 weeks up to 18 months. There are ten babies enrolled in each classroom with three Infant Nursery Supervisor (INS) teachers. These classrooms enroll starting in September and begin to transition into the toddler rooms the following summer allowing the children to connect with the teachers and fellow students.
TODDLERS
Our Toddler classrooms serve children ages 12 months to 36 months. In these classrooms, children begin to learn routine and the schedule becomes a bit more structured. Toddler classrooms have large and small group activities where social and academic skills are introduced.
PRESCHOOL
Preschool classrooms serve children from 3-6 years of age. These classrooms have a more social focused program while giving opportunities for academic learning embedded in play.
