Preschool Classrooms
Preschool classrooms serve children from 2.5-6 years of age.
Bridging Play and Academics for Pre-K and Kindergarten Readiness
These classrooms have a more social focused program while giving opportunities for academic learning embedded in play. These classrooms have up to 20 children and 3 teachers. Reading, writing and arithmetic are integrated in the play-based experiences. These teachers are working to make sure that your child is prepared to be successful in the transition to Pre-K and Kindergarten.
Preschool Program
Music
Everything in our preschoolers classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day.

Art
There’s something special about the preschoolers classroom: Children are encouraged to explore the many mediums of art through independent creativity and group guided projects.
After Play
Food preparation is part of our work cycle. Children are invited to help a teacher chop, season and stir vegetables before they cook them to add to their lunch as a school provided vegetable side.

Creative Curriculum
Your preschooler is provided with a rich academic environment; we lay a solid foundation of math, science, social studies, literacy, physical education, and friendship. Drawing from the Creative Curriculum, the teachers lead students in inquiry units that allow the children’s interests to guide exploration into new and exciting lessons and play-based activities. Your child is encouraged to expand their social-emotional learning by talking about feelings, friendships, and social interactions through play. Teachers provide opportunities for students to strengthen their literacy and fine motor skills in preparation for continued reading and writing development.
