Toddler Classrooms
Our Toddler classrooms serve children ages 12 months to 36 months.
Fostering Social, Academic, and Language Development
Welcome to our toddler classrooms, serving children ages 12 months to 36 months. There are ten toddlers enrolled in each classroom with three teacher teams. This classroom curriculum focuses on each child’s developmental milestones. The teachers work to mimic the schedule that parents have set at home with Responsive Care as their priority. Lesson plans are created to provide activities for each student that challenge him/or her to attain a new skill. Children in this age group will typically move up to our Preschool room between 2.5-3 years old and fully toilet trained.
Toddler Program
They’re on the move! We have a safe (and fun!) environment for toddlers to explore.
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day.

Kids eye level
There’s something special about the toddler classroom: Everything is kid-size! We put books and toys within easy reach of little hands. Instead of waiting for an adult to bring a book over, kids can kick off story time all on their own.
Creative Curriculum
Our highly qualified teachers promote an environment that encourages your little one’s autonomy and parallel play. Basic cognitive concepts are explored in this busy classroom including primary colors, basic shapes, and an introduction to letters and numbers. As your curious toddler develops, teachers will set up opportunities to expand on their communication by asking questions, commenting on processes, and narrating events. This is a time of language explosion! Your child will be encouraged to learn new songs, finger plays, word games. Toddlers are invited to participate in group experiences, such as circle time, where cognitive concepts are introduced, language skills can be developed, and social skills are practiced. Your toddler’s fine motor development begins to become a focus as they are introduced to toys and games that develop grasping strength and pinching with the thumb and forefingers.
